1st Place at European PhD Workshop – Congratulations, Miguel!

 

We’re thrilled to share that Miguel Ballesteros won First Place at the 18th European PhD Workshop on Food Engineering and Technology organized by EFCE Section on Food for his presentation on energy-efficient spray drying!
His research explores the use of a novel pneumatic nozzle to process highly viscous feeds, with the goal of reducing energy consumption in spray drying – a topic that sparked great interest among both researchers and industry experts.
This recognition comes at a special moment as Miguel prepares for his PhD defense.
